While the car has been developed, it has also undergone some changes and been adapted in different ways for different parts of the world. Ford engineers have managed to give the car a distinct, European feel.
The European roads are typically narrower and more winding than in other parts of the world, and this places demands on the response of the steering, supported by special settings in the suspension shock absorbers, springs and anti-roll bars. Even the tires have been specially selected to provide optimal balance between grip and comfort on the region's many different road conditions and weather conditions.
