This famous animal sanctuary is one phrazle of the most beautiful ecosystems in the world and is located just adjacent to the Serengeti. Long herds of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the Mara, and beautiful acacia trees break up the expanse of golden grasses. Island of Cat, Bahamas Cat Island in the Bahamas is an undiscovered paradise. Cat Island is off the beaten path for tourists, but it's well worth the effort to get there thanks to the miles of pristine nature paths and stunning pink beaches that glow in the Caribbean sun. The Chinese Geopark of Zhangye This geological oddity in Gansu, China, has distinct rolling bands of orange, cream, yellow, brown, and russet against jagged mountain peaks, giving the area the appearance of a psychedelic landscape on Mars. Scotch Glencoe There are several beautiful glens in the Scottish Highlands, but possibly the most well-known (and notorious, owing to a horrible murder in the 17th century) is Glencoe. The valley is now a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and whiskey connoisseurs because to the proximity of the historic Ben Nevis Distillery, which dates back to the 19th century. Japan's Mount Kya This sacred mountainside community was established by the Buddhist monk Kobo Daishi in the year 819. More than a hundred temples can be found in the tranquil and holy area, with the main temple, Kongobuji, boasting beautiful golden sliding doors and ceilings sculpted with flowers as part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There's a mausoleum and a cemetery in the middle of the historic compound, and all around it are cedar trees that are hundreds of years old. Located at the lowest point on Earth, it is surrounded by mineral formations, sandy beaches, wildlife preserves, natural pools, and waterfalls, and has clear and peaceful waters (about 10 times more saline than the ocean). Zion, Utah's National Park Zion is one of the most visited and beautiful national parks in the United States because of its stunning Navajo Sandstone cliffs, colorful canyons, and abundant wildlife. Iceland's Vatnajökull Park Vatnajökull, dominated by its namesake ice cap, is a cold Icelandic paradise full of caverns, craters, glacier-filled calderas, and waterfalls. Svartifoss, which cascades over hexagonal lava-rock columns, is among the most well-known waterfalls in Iceland. Turkey; Pamukkale Naturally produced by progressively crystallizing calcium carbonate, Pamukkale's electric-blue thermal pools and white travertine formations make for stunning travel photographs.
