However, be it any scenario, it is quite disappointing if you are unable to get a refund of the amount that you paid while booking the ticket. So let’s find out what are the refund and cancellation policies of Qatar Airlines reservations. 

Refund Policy of Qatar Airlines

• If the passenger has booked the Qatar Airlines website portal ticket, they may go ahead and fill the form provided on the website for a refund.
• After filling and submitting the form, Qatar airlines will refund the amount to the original document or payment. After all the deductions, if any service charge is applicable, it is applied. 
• If the payment is made through a credit card, the amount would be refunded within seven business days. However, if the payment was made through cash or cheque, then the same will be reflected in the account in 20 business days. 

Cancellation Policy of Qatar Airlines

There are two scenarios in terms of cancellation, and i.e, whether the cancellation is initiated within 24 hours of booking the ticket or after. 

Cancellation of the ticket within 24 hours of booking 

If the traveler has booked the tickets and wants to cancel the tickets within 24 hours, he/she is eligible for a refund only if their booking of Qatar Airlines reservations is online. Qatar airlines also can modify or cancel any booking from the USA within 24 hours without any extra payment.  

What are the Steps to Cancel or Modify any Booking?

• If a passenger wants to modify their bookings, they can make the changes from the Manage booking tab and go on the Modify tab on the Qatar website. If their tickets are eligible to make changes, the passenger will be able to change their booking online.
• If a traveler wishes to cancel their booking, they can click on cancel flight to cancel their bookings after going on the Manage Booking.
