World of Warcraft will mark its ninth anniversary in  WOTLK Gold November. The game's subscribers have declined to 8.3 million but it's still the best subscription-based MMO on the market.

In a meeting with investors in May, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick noted that the game's environment online games has become increasingly competitive. To combat this, the chief executive stated that it plans to launch regularly new content to keep players playing as well as make it easier for players who quit on the field.

World of Warcraft 's most recent major expansion was released in September's Mists of Pandaria. The addition of new features has not been announced.Activision Blizzard reported that 8.2 million people had signed up for World of Warcraft in March and the CEO Bobby Kotick saying that the company is expecting to see this number fall further throughout the rest of the year.

The decrease of World of Warcraft players numbers has been previously attributed mainly in part to Eastern markets, but Activision did not make any specific comments on the recent decline in subscriber count.

Activision confirms they believe that World of Warcraft remains the most popular subscription-based MMO in the world.The number of subscribers to the game exceeded 12 million in the month of October. The gargantuan MMO was originally released in 2004. and it has since launched four additional expansions: Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, as well as Mists of Pandaria.

World of Warcraft 's latest player numbers arrive as Activision Blizzard announces it has paid $5.83 billion on shares of its company to secure its independence from its parent firm Vivendi.In conjunction with the launch of World of Warcraft last night, Blizzard is giving away an epic mount for free for World of Warcraft owners if they play enough games of the new, collectible card battler.

Hearthsteed is like a mystical Pegasus and has a cool blue-glow effect. Dataminers have previously discovered an red-glow version of the mount in an WoW patch that was believed to be an Horde model of Hearthsteed However, that's currently not the case. You'll only see a glowing blue version as of now.

In order to obtain the mount you'll need to win 3 games against human enemies within World of Warcraft 's Play or Arena modes. This isn't too cheap WOW WOTLK Classic Gold difficult... however, it does mean you'll have be able to participate in enough World of Warcraft to get an knowledge about the game.
