AEW’s new event, Evolution, set to take place in May

The biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world, AEW, is set to make their return to the Los Angeles area this May with their newest event, Evolution. The card for the show has already been released and it looks like it will be chock-full of some of the top talent in the industry.

The main event of Evolution is set to feature Rey Mysterio taking on Drew McIntyre in a singles match. Mysterio is one of the most popular stars in pro wrestling today and McIntyre is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in recent memory. AEW Announces Title Changes for their Pro Wrestling Events

The American Express Wrestling (AEW) has announced that their upcoming events will now be known as "AEW Double or Nothing" and "AEW Genesis". AEW Double or Nothing will take place on February 16th in Los Angeles, CA and will feature matches between top stars from the WWE, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH), and CM Punk's new promotion, Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW).

Tickets for AEW Genesis are now available at a special discounted rate. The event will take place on March 9th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA and will feature matches between stars from WWE, NJPW, ROH, and CM Punk's new promotion RPW.

AEW Adds New Talent to their roster

In what is sure to be a major coup for the professional wrestling promotion, AEW has announced the signings of four new wrestlers. The athletes joining the ranks of the All Elite Wrestling roster are Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll and Adam Page.

The signings come just weeks after AEW announced the signing of Tetsuya Naito. Omega is considered to be one of wrestling's biggest stars and is a three-time world champion in both WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Rhodes is also a well-known name in the industry, having been a two-time world champion in World Championship Wrestling and later World Wrestling Entertainment. Scurll is a former triple champion in Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling and WWE. Finally, Page is an NXT superstar who has appeared on television shows such as "The Ultimate Fighter" and "WWE Raw".

On Tuesday, AEW Television announced the addition of two new shows to its roster: "High Society" and "Fighting Spirit".

"High Society" is a scripted show set in the fictional aristocracy of society. The debut episode will air on Wednesday, November 14 at 10pm EST. The show is written by award-winning screenwriter Robert Schenkkan (The Artist, Mean Streets) and directed by Emmy Award nominee Brian Percival (EastEnders, Midsomer Murders).

"Fighting Spirit" is a reality show that follows the lives of professional MMA fighters. The debut episode will air on Thursday, November 15 at 9pm EST. The series is produced by WME-IMG’s Elite Sports Productions division and executive produced by Bruce Buffer (UFC Hall Of Famer).

WWE has released the updated roster for their upcoming UK tour, headlined by AEW’s first show in the UK, which takes place on October 6th at the Birmingham BSC.

John Cena Launches a Charity Foundation

John Cena has announced the launch of his own charity foundation, called Make-A-Wish. The foundation will support wishes that "require a level of financial commitment and resourcefulness not currently possible due to the patient's medical condition."

"I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with Make-A-Wish and its talented team of grantmakers," Cena said in a statement. "Together, we can help make dreams come true for kids suffering from life-threatening illnesses."

Cena's foundation is modeled after WWE's Wellness Policy, which provides comprehensive health and wellness programs for employees.
