"Look, KD has been in the league for 14 years 2K23 MT now, he gets the game. This isn't like KD is really upset about it, I think the goal is to start a conversation. It's not like he has to because he's one of the most popular athletes across the world. I believe that his joining in the fray is a nod to the love he has for the game and the bond we share.

Just to be involved in something he doesn't really care about but knows his fans are interested in, which is super cool of him. I've more respect for this guy than almost anybody I know. ""I believe that the NBA allows us so much opportunity to only be scratching the surface. There are many different stories. When you think of the causes of social injustice, what we did to respond to that? We have a real-world perspective that plays into our approach to that," Singh said.

Using an example from the game that incorporates his personal life and, in particular, his upcoming wedding, Singh illuminated how NBA2K has integrated so many aspects from real life within their sport. "That's how we try to build our game, and I think that our sport is more positioned than other sport in terms how you take care of players playing this game." Singh said.

In a way, the game is centered around the individuality of each player, Singh said NBA2K wants their community to actually live like an NBA player through their game. In constant pursuit of new features that allow this to happen, Singh said the game can evolve with the constant evolution of the NBA.

"I remember 2K11. the first time we featured Jordan on the cover I thought to myself, "How do we get any bigger than this?' We'd just added a bunch of legends in the game for the first time. this Jordan challenge is incredible The graphics are amazing, but the development of MyCareer has taken this to a new level. I believe we're just beginning to see what we can accomplish. "You dropped the ball for Travis Scott, you have J. Cole on the cover, and you even had Lil Wayne at your launch event, how have you made these connections? You hear about it often, but you also observe it.

You saw that Serge Ibaka thing last week with him getting 35 million plays on Spotify. They're like living together in a sense. And so 2K's responsibility in this respect is to be as authentic as possible and to challenge the boundaries of the culture. Therefore, wherever we can play into that, I think it's going to delight us.I have to ask you this. Many fans have wondered why there wasn't a 2K23 joint Buy NBA 2K MT edition of LeBron and MJ for the Legend edition? Did you guys consider LeBron?
