Why You Should Become An IMechE Associate Member
IMechE provides a graduate who an undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) subject with an opportunity to become its member as an Associate Member (AMIMechE).

Requirements:
As told above, if you are a graduate along with an undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) subject, then you are eligible to join as an Associate Member. You need to satisfy one of the following requirements:
UK undergraduate physics, maths or another related science degree
UK undergraduate engineering degree
International engineering degree that satisfies IMechE’s academic requirements
An undergraduate with recognition from IMechE
Open University undergraduate degree with an acceptable profile
Unfortunately, qualifications that are not equal to a British bachelor’s degree (Level 6) or above like HNCs, HNDs and a foundation degree don’t fulfill the academic requirements for IMechE membership as an Associate.
