Annual Requirements For APEGS CPD Program

When a member has a registration with APEGS, then it’s a must for them to stay informed and maintain competency within their chosen profession.
The authority has made this obligation formal by means of its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program. By means of this program, a member can formally demonstrate their credibility, knowledge, and competency to the public in fulfilling the skills requirements of today, while also preparing for the environments of tomorrow.
This program requires you, as a member, to do the following:
Make/update a CPD Plan
Track your CPD
Attain your minimum number of credits
Achieve credits in the minimum number of categories
Obtain 1 hour of verifiable ethics training
Report your CPD information online in APEGS Central, the self-serve portal
CPD Program Basics:
The CPD Program (Continuing Professional Development) was updated in June 2022 for making the program requirements much clearer based on feedback got from members and lessons that are learned from the past year. We have provided below a table summarizing the changes.

CPD credit requirements for a licence waiver holder who reinstates their license part way through the year or licensed members who are granted a retroactive remission of fees have been adjusted. This member has to obtain credits in at least three categories, which may include professional practice. |
