Why Madden NFL 23 players favored the new CBA
The cap-to-cap hit won't exceed $22 million until after the final year, so it's easy for a team to Madden 23 coins of the contract after 2018.
However, the Chargers really have a need for every bit of support they can ... something that they're lacking after suffering so much losses recently, the Bosa protest and that thing about alienating fans through the relocation thing. If they can get rid of Mike McCoy and make the correct moves in the offseason, they could be competitive again sooner than you think. It's a big leap of faith for this team who hasn't been able to do anything particularly impressive, on the field or off.
Why Madden NFL 23 players favored the new CBA, despite its clear flaws
Madden NFL 23 athletes approved the latest collective bargaining plan by the owners by an extremely narrow margin of 1.019-959 votes. Approximately 500 Madden NFL 23 players did not take part in the vote. Yet, the CBA that will run until 2030. was approved by the vote of a majority. It's a result I expected from the beginning however the margin of victory is unexpected.
The agreement was accepted, even with a vocal group of players who are veterans on social media and in the union. I'm aware that there's a debate about players who voted because of the current climate with the coronavirus epidemic and the panic in the stock market, but I find that hard to believe. I believe this CBA was probably always getting rejected. Here's why.
There are two main reasons for why the CBA was accepted
The second is that it assists those who are "rank-and-file" employees of unions better than the stars. The increase to minimum wages are significant, and I'm confident that the majority rank-and-file members vote for what's essential now, and not the future of their careers or when they retire.
That's why I was surprised to see such a large number of "no" ballots. There was a report earlier in the week that some players wanted to change their vote . However, the Madden NFL 23 Players Association declined their request. However, it was also speculated that many of those players were looking to change their votes between "no" towards "yes," once they knew more about the CBA. There were a lot of players who were initially"iMadden NFL affected by the opinions on social media. I believe once they began to research the CBA for themselves, they decided to modify their votes.
But, according to Benjamin Allbright, it wouldn't have mattered anyway:
Subject: Madden NFL 23 CBAI'm told the number of players who asked to alter their vote would have been in the teens. It "wouldn't affect" on the overall tally.Far more troubling was the fact that around 20% of voters eligible didnt vote.
The best leverage players have in all this is the chance of having to cancel games. I'm in the unique position of thisbecause I was part of the lockout of 2011 as well as CBA negotiations. Players claimed they'd be in a position to stay out for the madden 23 coins buy of a season. But, when they started to feel the start of training camp, the players bowed.
