Like nearly everyone, I'm frustrated in many different ways with EA. I'm not INFURIATED like any players, and that I always want to enjoy the games. We have new consoles coming out which is great! I am currently on Xbox, but I am still on the fence about where I am heading next gen. that I have opted to boycott EA for one year. Without spending cash on Madden, FIFA, etc. and necessarily (for me ) spending hundreds more on"packs", I shall probably be able to buy my second console and probably save money all around.

I believe we are beyond the point of no return when it has to do with EA's greed, they simply make a lot of cash out of the present version and I don't blame them for continuing with this trajectory. I think the only way to see progress will be to finish. This isn't a proposal for others since I really do love Madden even with it's flaws. This is my way of"fighting back" from EA while at the same time employing the savings to buy my console. Not buying Sports Games + Packs for a single season = Savings to buy a new plus sends a message.

After they gave up on toty players. I'm just done with the game. First time I won't spend money on madden since NES. Me not spending cash on madden for a year would save me $60. True. I supposed all EA games not just Madden, but I feel you. 500 dollars each year purchasing packs? Even that being on the end I dont know how ppl justify it next season, to themselves knowing it resets. I supposed to all EA games possibly 4 or 5? Hell I might even add 2k into the mix!

Yeah you send a message to EA with your boycott. I think this is silly. You can afford the console, you don't need to boycott a game for that. I concur that the message is insignificant, small, and silly. My point is normally I am not the kind of person to take a stand against a business by not purchasing their matches, but in such a scenario it's a double benefit, and so I figured I'd try it and finally contribute towards a larger message to EA by the masses. Though I assume sales will be high as usual and nothing will change.
