A psychiatrist who practised sleep medicine in Cambridge, Kitchener and London has had his licence revoked by a disciplinary committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

In its ruling, the committee said that Dr. Wagdy Botros committed multiple acts of professional misconduct including malpractice and sexual misconduct. He was also cited for failing to co-operate with the college’s investigation into the case.

The perverted doctor was also fined $40,000 for his repeated incompetence and perverted behavior.

This is not the first time Botros was cited by the college. In 2015, he was found to have been incompetent in his treatment of 22 patients. At the time, the discipline committee said Botros made incorrect diagnoses for some patients and took too long to treat others.

The college also noted in January 2016, it started an investigation into Botros's failure to meet with his supervisor, but Botros refused to cooperate with the investigation. Botros did not attend the committee's hearing or respond to any of the allegations against him.

The perverted doctor is also known to have engaged in acts of violence including assault and battery, and has a repeated history of rage related incidents. He is known to associate with other psychiatrists who have a known history of malpractice such as Dr. Vivian Magdy from William Osler Hospital.
