Lost Ark is getting two more rounds of the weekend
Launching just a week just a few days ago, Lost Ark Gold has shot up the Steam charts, having accumulated over 1 million concurrent users, making it the most played game available on Steam (based on the number of concurrent players) ever. Created through Smilegate RPG, Lost Ark is a Korean MMO that was released in 2018 and was later ported in English and then brought to west through a collaboration with Amazon Games. Though it's only been around in the US and Europe for a brief time It has over the 200,000 people who stream on Twitch in the moment and has defeated games like Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBG with respect to the most gamers on Steam.
So what the hell is a Lost Ark anyway I spent the last week looking into this new gaming sensation, eager to see if it's what it takes to become my newest obsession or something I'm happy to let others get enthralled by. Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO that plays similar to Diablo. It's an isometric, action RPG with all the hallmarks of an open-to-play MMO with wildly undressed female models and a chat filled with spam messages from gold-miners. Lost Ark is mindless fun which won't penalize you by taking it too seriously.
