According to the rumors, Blizzard is looking to maintain a linear, grand narrative in WoTLK Gold with plenty of chances for players to create the expansion in their own way. We'll be waiting until Shadowlands releases, which is expected to be in 2020, to discover how these two concepts will mesh.

Shadowlands" Torghast Tower Infuses Rogue-Like Gaming To World of Warcraft

The next expansion of World of Warcraft , Shadowlands, is taking the conflicts of Azeroth to a completely new level in the realm of the afterlife. Venturing to a new plane of existence, one that Blizzard hasn't really explored in its games , or in WoW's mythology--presents the opportunity for the creator to introduce new ways to play WoW as an expansion that weren't included in Azeroth previously.

Torghast and one of the Tower of the Damned, is a pretty literal expression of the Shadowlands offering something strange and distinct from the WoW formula. The new game's endgame in the Shadowlands is essentially imagining WoW as one of the rogue-like games. In theory, the game shares similarities to World of WarcraftV's Deep Dungeons called "Palace of the Dead" and "Heaven-on-High" that employ an rogue-like design and throw challenging opponents and elements at you as you rise up a few of floors. It's also interesting that WoW seems to provide the player with endless challenges that play different from the rest of the game in some key ways.

At Blizzcon 2019 Executive producer John Hight and senior game designer Johnny Cash explained how cheap WoTLK Classic Gold offered Blizzard the chance to play up the WoW formula and experiment with the game a little. It's basically one of the towers in which you'll be battling a variety of challenges that escalate in difficulty the higher you climb. The goal is to climb the highest level you can before you're eventually lost.
