My name is James Parker, and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm going to show you how to accurately and effectively separate super alloys using an Olympus Vanta xrf xrf spectrometer in today's lesson. This will allow you to recycle the super alloys after they have been separated. Many of the alloys that are used in applications such as power generation in automobiles, extraction of oil and gas, and aerospace must be able to withstand temperatures that are extremely high in order to be used in these applications. Furthermore, in extremely corrosive environments, particular superalloys are required to adhere to very stringent xrf analyzer in order to function properly. In order for alloys to have the properties that are being sought after, these specifications need to include a number of specific elements.

It's common for these requirements to overlap with one another. When scrap is collected from manufacturers for recycling, the alloys in question should not only be analyzed by grade, but also by the explicit element analysis contained therein. This is because both types of analyses are important for determining the quality of the scrap. This should be completed before any processing of the scrap is done. It's possible that the price of supplying foundries or smelting workshops with recycled materials that have the wrong element concentrations will end up being quite high.
