The First 5000 Days, Beeple

Beeple (Mark Winkelman), a digital artist from the USA, is the creator of the most expensive NFTs in the world. He sells his work on different platforms . The global project "The First 5000 Days" represents 5,000 digital images. Every day since May 1, 2007, without missing a day, he has published a new image. The technological changes of the last 14 years, the emergence of new software and new digital art possibilities are consistently reflected in this series of works. A collage of images from "The First 5000 Days" series was auctioned by Christie's on February 25, 2021, with a starting price of $100 in a two-week online auction that closed at $69.34 million on March 11. It was the first time an object in the form of a unique token had been sold by a traditional auction house, and it was the first lot for Christie's that could be paid for with ethereums.

Beeple is now one of the top three most sought-after artists in the world, with more than 2 million people subscribed to his Instagram.

"Washer," Frm46.

St. Petersburg-based artist and graphic designer Evgeny Zubkov combines the entourage of provincial Russia with cyberpunk in his work. "Carbongrad 1999" is a series of 7 illustrations of the artist, showing how Russia of the late 90s could look like in a fantasy reality. Militia, street thugs and grannies at the porch - a familiar picture for every Russian. Grim artistic rethinking of this reality creates a special Russian spirit in the artist's works, allowing him to look at the future through the prism of the past.
