Education and Information Technology

As stated by book the bureau, The field of education is one where technology changes all the time. With the tools that IT gives them, teachers and professors can present information in a more interesting way than ever before. The biggest benefit might be being able to reach more students, especially those who can't afford or don't have time for a degree program or who live too far away from schools or college campuses.
IT helps education reach more people by making online classes and degree programs that students can do from home. Even though this is how the University of Phoenix has done things since 1989, students going to school and getting a degree fully online from major universities is still a fairly new thing.
Teachers also agree that IT is important and should be used as a way to teach their lessons. 81 percent of teachers say that using digital learning tools in the classroom and online is a very good idea. Also, 57 percent of them think that IT and the use of digital learning tools help make learning and teaching more personalized and that these digital learning tools work well to keep students interested.
As technology, devices, and software get better, this kind of engagement gets better. Technology is getting smarter, which makes it possible for people who might not do well in a regular classroom or can't afford to be there, like students on the autism spectrum, to join in.
Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are both becoming more popular and easier to use, so teachers plan to use these technologies in their lessons. New technologies like VR and AR have been well received by both students and teachers. Teachers say that students are more creatively stimulated, they remember information better, and their classes are more interesting.

Some people say that using technology in schools can be distracting, leading to less social interaction, making lesson plans more complicated, or leaving out those who can't afford expensive devices. However, most people think that using technology in schools is a good thing. Most students, teachers, and professors agree that IT makes learning better because of some of the following:
- More people can get access to high-quality, up-to-date information.
- Students learn tech skills that are very important.
- Student work and participation get better.
- Automation cuts down on tasks that are done over and over.
