2K23 MT should take to the FIFA approach and help make team chemistry as well as player chemistry valuable. Team USA with their all star team have been defeated by Nigeria as well as Australia with a superior team because they put an entire group of players together. However, Nigeria as well as Australia have players who have been playing together for years. I believe they should eliminate position locks but add severe penalties for playing guys outside of their positions, just as FIFA does. At the end of the year when every card is souped up the penalties won't be as much but that will be fine as it would be the end of the road at that point.

These are my ideas. I am of the opinion that these changes will provide a lot more variety because the boost in chemistry can create a variety of lineup combinations feasible. Having no position locks gives people the ability to mimic the real-life teams. The chemistry system on FIFA is a disaster. It makes it difficult to create your "ultimate" team. This is why FIFA has a smaller number of players than 2k. The position locks are the furthest 2k should be able to.

I wouldn't hate seeing something similar to NHL was or has been where every player has their own primary role, and how these roles affect chemistry or some other. I think of a team like the '04 Pistons where their skillsets and roles just fit perfectly that they performed more effectively than the sum of their parts. If there were five primary scorers, a team won't be as cohesive as a team that has good defense playing, scoring, or some other combination. They already have ratings for how well a player fits a system therefore would it be crazy for a similar rating for each role?

What advice would you give? Anything other than making the majority of the players unusable together due to imaginary relationship issues on the court. This game mode is about making your ideal team. Edit: IMO they need to concentrate on resolving the many issues before they go in adding ANYTHING like this. This game would be much better if they fixed the bugs and multiplayer wasn't dependent on input lags from learning.

The chemistry factor doesn't make players unusable it's just an added boosts. Their ovr would be affected if they played outside of their positions. This is a major improvement over the Duos'. It could boost stats for players who play for the same college or country, or even team. Then maybe the whole team's starting five give you badges. Imagine if I had a Sixers starting 5, and then pushed Simmons out of position at the point with NBA 2K MT. Then, the rest of the players would remain in their normal positions. Simmons would get a serious penalty, and could possibly be upgraded some badges.
