My fiancé and I got engaged earlier this September after 5+ many years of dating. It was the perfect day and he had planned a surprise engagement party with all of our family and friends that happened 2 days later. We soon began wedding ceremony planning and we kept our venue and date for August 2020. We chose August 23rd since it was the very same wedding date as my grandparents who were simply happily married and inseparable for 61 years at that time. My grandma particularly was so looking forward to our wedding because I was the very first grandchild from 8 to become getting married, and we would be sharing exactly the same anniversary date.

Unfortunately, she died in March and won't be at my wedding. It completely breaks my heart, and all sorts I wanted next was to possess the most special and delightful wedding that they could be a part of spiritually. Of course, once things got really bad using the virus I realized my wedding wasn’t going to become possible. I hadn’t hired my vendors at that time and my dress fitting was supposed to become at the beginning of April however the store finding yourself in NY continues to be closed and never sure when I’ll have the ability to come in (I also reside in Florida so it's more complicated).

All I want for my wedding is perfect for it to become beautiful and also to have all my family and friends there. If I find myself in New York, I don’t think it’s going to become possible. I wouldn’t wish to put some of our guests at risk by having a gathering of 200 people even when it is allowed, particularly due to my 85-year-old grandfather. At this point, my fiancé and I decided it makes the most sense to complete a small ceremony before our family and closest friends in the backyard, after which celebrate our reception with everyone on our 12 monthly anniversary.bridal gowns.
