There's simply not enough to go around, and if you are fighting over the same three mobs each with what feels like a 5 percent chance to drop among the six things you want to earn a tenth of your degree, you do start to question how much of your daily life you are losing to essentially nothing. And with small funds there would have been back at start, finding something different to do was just as insecure a time investment as staying and beating up boars until the sun came up.
