During the time you are leveling, you PoE Goods may encounter Vaal side areas (but you cannot strike them in endgame maps). They're marked with a red heart icon once you start the minimap and go near them.In general Vaal side places are pretty small and you can run through them pretty fast, each of them contain a boss in the end. Slaying the boss enables you to open Vaal Vessel which drops either Vaal Skill Gem or one of those 4 Vaal Sacrifice Fragments that provide entry to Atziri.Let me note that different zones exude distinct Vaal side areas and various bosses inside them, and a number of those bosses can be pretty tough to take down while you are leveling so be mindful. In the image below you can see the entry to Vaal side area looks.Rogers called out one the Path of Exile diehards will probably have strong opinions on: Grinding Gear Games is removing double-dipping, a key element in most of the game's optimized high-end assembles. Eliminating double will have a massive influence but in the long run they say it'll let them introduce viable, better balanced builds.

Players will have a shot at rare items they missed a year or two past while they wait for a crack at Act 5 new supervisors.

I have not spent much time at the realm of Path of Exile, but when there are half a dozen managers just within this new growth much harder and more complex than Avarius, I'd say it is going to be a fantastic year to get action-RPG fans.

This game is very unforgiving when it comes to character defense that is inadequate, so being able to survive is a part of the experience. Defense is important than offense in Path of Exile and every character needs to have a way.

In addition to this, you also have 3 Elemental resistances (Fire, Lightning, and Cold) and Chaos resistance. Elemental resistances start with 0 percent and as you advance, more resistance is required for them to be capped (such as your resistances will be -60% once you hit late game and have no +percent to x resistance stats in your gear ). Capped resistances is essential for every character which goes into the late game (Except turmoil resistance, which Cheap PoE Currency even at -60percent isn't fatal at all).
