Different ways to keep your smoking in control

Sometimes it happens that people become stress -smokers or smoke a cigarette occasionally when out partying. Thus identifying the craving can then help you regulate your behavior.

Keep your mouth and hands busy

It is often suggested to a smoking quitter to occupy both their hands and mouth in some other activity to fight the urge to smoke. For instance, you can practice chewing gum and using stress toys to keep your mouth and hand busy respectively.

Join a non-smoker club

There are several non-smoking clubs held where all people wanting to quit gather once or twice a week to discuss their progress and motivate each other. Such clubs also have degrees of badges given as a reinforcement for progress at quitting.

Positive reinforcement

Reinforcement is a process of rewarding your own or some other self for their actions. To permanently quit smoking, you can reinforce or award yourself ranging from little things like a half-day or a brownie to things like taking a vacation etc. Reinforcement helps you to connect the feeling of not smoking to the happiness you get from your rewards. Reminder, do not reinforce yourself in the form of smoking

A healthy body results in a healthy and peaceful mind. Along with working out daily, practice meditation. Also, try to keep yourself away from the things that trigger you to smoke.

One starts valuing oneself and their life right from the day one thinks of quitting. Keep this in mind and live a prosperous life with people who makes you ecstatic.
