We all know how fast the world's climate is changing with each passing day. The cool breezy season known as spring that we used to experience in March has now changed to a sweaty summer season in just a few years. The fresh air that we used to inhale has now become polluted. The water that we used to drink unfiltered has now become unfit to consume even after filtration.

What can be worse than this?

However, a few companies, like nonprofit organizations in Canada, are playing an essential role in changing the world to make it a better place to live, and we all should be a part of it.

What are the Reasons Behind the Change in Earth's Climate?

Our Earth's climate is basically affected by two factors which are natural and anthropogenic. Here is a sight on these factors-

  • In natural aspects, slow changes in the Earth's orbit, variations in sun's activity, ocean currents, and other related elements affect the climate.
  • The anthropogenic aspects include the addition of CO2 and other heat-trapping gases in the air. The greenhouse gases are another major cause resulting in the rise in Earth's temperature to an extent.

Practically, these natural & human attributed factors are the reasons behind the damage caused to Earth and water.

What are these Organizations Really doing?

These organizations partner with like-minded organizations and institutes that can volunteer and help offer various services for the community, and the services they offer are-

  • Plant Trees- Trees are the key to our living. But, because of the rising population & their needs, people tend to cut trees, which leads to increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, deforestation, and other soil-related problems. These nonprofit organizations plant trees and offer resources to the volunteers so that they can practice planting trees as well.
  • Guide through Seminars- Events are organized by these organizations. People are guided and provided information regarding the change in the atmosphere and what measures they should take to avoid them. E.g., the three Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle, conserving the water, using non-toxic chemicals in industries, and many more are discussed in these events.

These seminars organized by nonprofit organizations in Canada not only influence people to change their habits in making Earth a better place to live but also bring about a visible difference in their behavior.
