Hydraulic gear pump (referred to as gear pump) is a kind of quantitative pump commonly used in hydraulic systems. Gear pumps can be divided into external gear pumps and internal gear pumps according to their meshing forms. Internal gear pumps have a compact structure, stable operation, low noise, good high-speed performance, small flow pulsation, but complex processing, high pressure, and low speed. The volumetric efficiency is low; the process of the external gear pump is simple. At present, the most commonly used gear pumps are external meshing involute spur gears.

When the hydraulic gear pump is installed, the base or bracket should have sufficient rigidity, so that the hydraulic gear pump should not be subjected to other forces in principle except the torsional force generated by the rotation of the shaft; the different axial degrees between the connecting shafts Not more than 0.05mm; the hydraulic gear pump should run according to the calibrated rotation direction, pay attention to the position of the oil inlet and outlet, and the big hole in the oil inlet.
The hydraulic system must be equipped with a safety valve and a slim device. The oil tank must be dust-proof to prevent debris such as mud and sand from entering the oil and should be cleaned regularly. The oil suction pipe should be as short as possible, generally no more than 500mm. No air leakage.
The working oil is required to be used: HC-8# diesel oil is used in winter, HC-11# diesel oil is used in summer, and the working temperature is -10 degrees to 70 degrees.
