In Stardew Valley, you've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot. You set out to start your new life, armed with secondhand tools and a few coins. Convert your overgrown field into a bustling farm! Raise animals, cultivate crops, establish an orchard, build useful machines, and more! You'll have plenty of room to build your dream farm.

Farming with four players! Invite 1-3 online players to join you in the valley! Players can collaborate to build a thriving farm, share resources, and better the local community. Because more hands are better than one, players can choose to reduce the profit margin on produce sold for a more difficult experience.

Over time, you will be able to improve your skills. You'll level up in five different areas as you progress from a struggling greenhorn to a master farmer: farming, mining, combat, fishing, and foraging. As you progress, you'll unlock new areas to explore and customize your skills by selecting from a variety of professions.

Participate in the local community. With over 30 distinct characters inhabiting Stardew Valley, you'll have no trouble making new friends! Every person has their own daily schedule, birthday, unique mini-cutscenes, and new things to say every week and year. As you become friends with them, they will open up to you, ask for your assistance with their personal problems, or reveal their secrets! Investigate a vast, mysterious cave. As you progress deeper underground, you will come across new and dangerous monsters, powerful weapons, new environments, valuable gemstones, raw materials for crafting and upgrading tools, and mysteries to solve.

Bring new life to the valley. The old way of life in Stardew Valley has changed since the opening of JojaMart. Much of the town's infrastructure has deteriorated. Help restore Stardew Valley to its former glory by repairing the old community center, or join forces with Joja Corporation.

Find and marry a partner with whom to share your life on the farm. There are 12 bachelors and bachelorettes to woo, each with their own set of character progression cutscenes. When you marry, your partner will join you on the farm. Who knows, perhaps you'll have children and start a family?

Spend a relaxing afternoon fishing at one of the local spots. Seasonal varieties of delicious fish abound in the waters. Make your own bait, bobbers, and crab pots to aid you in your quest to catch every fish and become a local legend!

Donate minerals and artifacts to the local museum.

Cook delectable meals and make useful items to assist you. With over 100 cooking and crafting recipes, you'll be able to make a wide range of items. Some dishes will even temporarily improve your skills, running speed, or combat prowess. Make useful items such as scarecrows, oil makers, furnaces, and even the rare and costly crystalarium.

Customize your character's and house's appearance. You'll have no trouble designing the home of your dreams with hundreds of decorative items to choose from!
