MEDICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IVERHEAL 12MG TAB :

Iverheal 12mg Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg, it is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) medicine. This tablet is used to treat strongyloidosis, onchocerciasis and scabies and is used as an orphan drug in cases of lice, blepharitis, filariasis and gnathostomiasis. This tablet is used safely in children weighing more than 15 kg.

USES OF THE IVERHEAL 12MG TAB :
It is used in the treatment of various parasitic infections in adults and children weighing more than 15 kg.

ADVANTAGES OF THE 12MG IVERHEAL TAB :
It is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) drug used in the treatment of strongyloidosis, onchocerciasis and scabies in adults and not recommended in children weighing less than 15 kg, caution in geriatrics due to its toxicity.

Strongyloidosis is an intestinal parasite

MECHANISM OF ACTION OF IVERHEAL 12MG TAB :
Iverheal 12mg Tablet (Ivermectin 12mg) binds to glutamate-dependent chlorine ion channels in muscle and nerve cells of microfilariae, causing an increase in the influx of chloride ions leading to parasite paralysis and parasite death. Iverheal 12 mg tablet acts as a GABA agonist, thereby disrupting neurosynaptic transmission in the CNS.

HOW IVERHEAL 12MG TABLET WORKS ;
This tablet is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) drug, it increases the influx of chloride ions causing paralysis and death of parasites by binding to the ion channels of the chloride activated by glutamate.
