I've had more fun playing MyTeam in NBA 2K19 this year than I have since the mode has been born, but there are still a couple of things about the quality that irks me. Completing Domination is supposed to be a very long process; I get it, but no component of a video game should ever be boring. The opening pair of matches are only painful to finish. It's named NBA Domination, and it works just as it seems. You are tasked with dominating all 30 current NBA teams at a 5-on-5 match with five-minute quarters before continuing on to the more challenging Fantasy Domination set, and then finally All-Time Domination.
Gamers do not need a bushel of challenging tasks standing in the way of the benefits they are pursuing, but it is almost as bad if there is no struggle for this extended time period.
I can see two ways 2K can correct this issue and thereby enhance a style that is already actually good in many ways.Perhaps there are some players that don't mind playing 30 matches from NBA teams on Pro difficulty. Those players should be allowed to maintain that expertise. However, 2K must offer a Pro, All-Star, Superstar and Hall-of-Fame difficulty option for every leg of Domination. Based upon the difficulty level you choose, completion of this set will make you a reward card. Maybe a Galaxy Opal should be produced by domination of 30 All-Time teams on HOF issue. A Pink Diamond could be added by domination of 30 All-Time teams on Superstar to your group, and out there is decreased by the rewards with this same format followed for Fantasy and NBA Domination.
A challenge that is much-needed would be created by offering a greater difficulty level .
