The joy and excitement of visiting an amusement park are unparalleled. There is nothing like a day full of fun, thrill, excitement and adventure on a bright sunny day. However, before you play your day out with friends or family in an amusement park, there are a few things you must know. Darren Yaw released the ultimate do’s and don’ts list while spending the day in an amusement park. Follow these steps to make your day at the park be safe, happy, fun-filled and worth remembering.

The Things you must DO:

  • Carry sunscreen and a water bottle with you at all times. You will need them more than you think.
  • Bring some form of lip protection with you- be it a chapstick or Blistex
  • Carry some snacks on you. Make sure they are healthy, filling and something that you can eat while moving around.
  • If it is a cold day, bring a warm jacket with you.
  • Wear a pair of shoes that are soft and comfortable. You will be on your feet almost the entire time so Dato Darren Yaw suggests carrying an extra pair of shoes might also be a good idea.
  • Kids can get their clothes dirty by the end of the day. So if you have kids with you, do carry a change of clothes with you.
  • Carry a few personal care items like a brush, hats and scrunchies.
  • You will be spending a lot of time under the sun and if you think that can give you a headache, carry some medicines with you.

The DON’T List:

  • Do not wear heels. An amusement park is the last place you want to wear your heels.
  • Don’t wear clothes that might make you uncomfortable during rides. Try not to go for mini skirts or dresses and opt for clothes that you shall be comfortable in all day.
  • Do not, under any circumstances, force your companions (especially kids) to go on certain rides if they don’t want to.
  • Darren yaw Singapore shares, in the excitement of trying different rides, do not lose your friends or family in the park. Stay in groups and decide a common area where everyone should meet at the end of the day or during lunch time.
  • Avoid getting too adventurous if you have recently had a major surgery or are pregnant.
