FULL APPLICATION

As with all alternative means, it is the digital experience that completes the one on the road and makes it even more enjoyable, the same happens on this Max G30 through the official UK Segways-Ninebot application: dashboard with remaining autonomy and three icons for walking mode, braking energy recovery level (three options available, I use "strong") and "cruise control". By activating the latter, a few seconds of constant speed are enough for it to activate and no longer need the accelerator, then a light touch of the lever is enough to deactivate it. Over long distances it is a nice convenience, I use it all the time.

The settings give access to software updates, maximum speed (can only be set for limited mode), basic info and details on the battery status, then remaining energy, power, temperature, and much more. You can also customize the rear light and choose, for example, to always leave it on (which I do).

Ninebot claims up to 65 km of autonomy, more than anyone else and close to my direct experience, although it was impossible to run consecutively for a similar journey. According to my calculations, the real duration with a 74 kg person driving is around 60 km (made in several stages), but we know that this value can change a lot based on some factors: precisely the weight of the driver, any differences in height. and outside temperature. In Milan, there are very few climbs but I was happily surprised by the attitude shown in tackling some "more difficult" bridges, with a maximum speed that drops very little to about 22 km / h (at least according to the integrated digital speedometer). The sensation that Niccolò da Cagliari also reiterated, Drone sale UK, where climbs and descents are much more frequent. Charging is normal, so it takes about 6 hours to go from 0 to 100% but about 15% is enough to have about 10 km available.

Driving is very pleasant and the feeling with the scooter is found quickly, compared to others I really appreciated the better stability on the road obtained thanks to the combination of the various elements already described. Accurate in the changes of direction but the limits of a real shock absorber remain, on the road you must always keep your eyes firmly on the ground because a real hole is not a small problem.

Pleasant entry is the front drum brake, capable of giving a useful response in case of emergency and sudden braking, a plus that is added to the good electronic and regenerative brake (rear) which by itself slows down the movement as soon as you leave the accelerator. Certainly effective but more complex if you think about maintenance, with a disc brake it would certainly have been easier to get started at the right time.

To keep everything under control there is a color LED display above the steering wheel that shows speed, remaining charge (only with 4 dashes), mode, maintenance, and Segway Bluetooth connection, too bad it is protected by plastic and it gets scratched rather quickly. Quite visible even during the day but under direct sunlight the numbers and letters are hardly distinguishable, however, there is the application that makes everything a little smarter.
